Stone Install Apprentice

Silver City Stone, Cabinetry, & Tile is Montana’s Premier Provider of Interior Finishes. A Stone Install Apprentice is responsible for the installation of granite and quartz surfaces including but not limited to countertops, backsplash, under-mount sinks, and various stone accessories and trim. A stone installer for SCSCT sets up and operates a variety of stone machines and uses various hand-tools and power tools to handle, transport, install and repair granite and quartz surfaces. A stone installer studies templates, job information files, cabinet layout drawings and blueprints or drawings and specifications of articles to be installed or repaired. Works under direct supervision of a Lead Stone Installer and reports to Production Manager. The craft of working with stone is a unique skill, building industry experience is preferred, but the aptitude to learn and a team-oriented attitude are a must.
